To recruit, supervise, motivate, and develop a strong team. Service the cleaning needs of our customers by receiving, pricing, collecting payment, accurate detailing, sorting, racking, retrieving, and returning customer orders, and adhere to the Company policies and procedures. Summary of Essential Job Functions
Identify and pursue sources of revenue growth, e.g. adding new customers, growing sales with existing customers through new services.
Energizing associates to drive sales growth and customer retention thought delivery of superior service
Motivating team to deliver monthly sales and profit budgets.
Enforcing the consistent delivery of ZOOTS’ WOW! Service Procedures, and serving as a role model for all store associates
Recruiting, selecting, hiring, training and retaining superior associates
Motivating and supervising all direct reports and any manager(s) in training
Supervising and performing the following activities in a fast, efficient, and friendly manner: receiving, pricing, collecting payment, accurate detailing, sorting, racking, retrieving, and returning customer orders
Problem solving using actively listening to and resolving (immediately and at store level) customer complaints according to company procedures
Orientating and training associates on new-hire programs and ongoing education
Coaching assistant manager and supervisor on recruiting, selecting, hiring, and retaining superior associates
Assist in new store openings, route development*, and training and development of new retail management staff
Ensuring correct and punctual opening and closing procedures
Ensuring that the financial and loss prevention policies and procedures listed in the Company handbook are followed
Attending all company meetings as required
Monitoring competitors on a regular basis and reporting information to area manager
Developing associate schedules to adhere to scheduling requirements
Ensuring the store is properly staffed at all times
Evaluating store performance against key indicators; weekly, monthly, annually, etc.
Developing the store team to achieve sales, service, and cost control goals
Communicating with the store team and cleaning plant management to address opportunities
Maintaining upkeep of all equipment and interior/exterior of physical facility
Enforcing compliance of company policies and procedures
Enforcing all safety procedures
Monitoring quality and flow of work, constantly seeking to improve efficiency and drive sales
Maintaining and developing knowledge of in-store computer system, as well as current garment types, fabrics, and different methods of cleaning them
Communicating with appropriate Support Center personnel to address opportunities
Minimizing controllable costs (i.e., payroll, phone expense, inventory)
Conducting regular store meetings and encouraging communication within the organization
Monitoring and appraising assistant manager, supervisors, and the store team on job performance, recognizing good performance; coaching, training, counseling, and documenting training and poor performance to ensure improvement
Meeting all deadlines for assignments and duties
Exhibiting integrity, commitment, passion, enthusiasm, and loyalty in the execution of all duties
Completing all other tasks and duties as assigned
Summary of Job Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods of time, up to 90% of each scheduled shift, and up to 4-hour intervals (separated by not more than a 30-minute break)
Be available for the following shift requirements including but not limited to: two opening shifts, two closing shifts, at least one Sunday per month and at least three Saturdays per month
Strong computer and communication skills; ability to understand and respond using written and spoken words effectively
Ability to lift, carry, and transport up to 50 pounds at/to waist height
Ability to lift and rack up to 20 pounds overhead up to 86”, while standing on floor or stepping on 8”-high platform
Ability to push 50 pounds on wheeled cart
Mobility within store and on store property to satisfy operational and customer needs quickly
Ability to apply math skills in order to measure and analyze sales, cost control, and customer service
Ability to operate all in-store equipment, including but not limited to: register, calculator, telephone, conveyor, keyboard
Ability to travel or be assigned/reassigned to locations within a 30-mile radius of initial facility, at the sole discretion of the company with or without cause or notice
Ability to meet schedule availability requirements as stated in the associate handbook
Physical ability to climb an 8-10’ ladder and comply with all safety procedures
