Job Summary & Responsibilities
The Clinical Research Associate assists in the management of the implementation and conduct of study protocols at research sites. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: serving as in house Clinical Research Associate for clinical studies; coordinating the development of study materials and plans (ie, monitoring plans, study support materials, etc); facilitating contact with study sites, report preparation and communications documentation (ie, Essential Site document collection and review; CTMS maintenance, etc); supporting clinical project manager(s) and departmental colleagues.
∙ Performs Essential Document Collection, Review, and Maintenance
∙ Performs Study Tracking to ensure that the study files are current, accurate, and complete
∙ Liaises With Internal and External partners to meet project specific goals
∙ Supports Clinical Project Manager(s) in the management of investigational sites
∙ Supports Clinical Project Manager(s) to resolve internal and external clinical issues for assigned projects
∙ Supports Clinical department management in coordination of study processes, to include maintenance of Clinical Trial Management System and generation of reports
Job Specifications
At least 3-5 years of industry experience in conducting clinical trials is highly desired, and a good knowledge of regulatory and GCP/ICH guidelines is required.
An undergraduate degree with a minimum of 3 years of industry experience in conducting clinical trials.
∙ Demonstrated experience and skill in managing time, multi-tasking and organizing in office environment required
∙ Clinical trials support experience preferred (ie, Study Nurse Coordinator experience in HIV AIDS clinical trials strongly preferred)
∙ Computer proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook is required
∙ Strong written and oral communication skills
∙ Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural skills and experiences
