Position Responsibilities:
This position will provide corporate transaction real estate services consisting of activities associated with the acquisition and sale of real estate assets.
The candidate should possess skills necessary to negotiate leases, purchases and sales as well ancillary transactions such as easements, licenses, access agreements and the ongoing management of the portfolio. The candidate will have strong analytical skills to manage a challenging volume of real estate transactions, identify transaction requirements and recommend marketing strategies associated with acquisition and disposition recommendations. They will develop transaction strategies and coordinate negotiations; negotiate and manage lease termination's; and evaluate assets to preserve property value. In addition, they will document recommendations and transactions with specified financial and market analyzes and monitor project schedules.
Provides input to the capital and expense budgets associated with the ongoing management of the portfolio. The candidate will provide support to a variety of business units thereby resulting in various types of industrial, commercial, and retail transactions.
The candidate should be professional while having experience working with brokers, landlords, buyers, sellers, appraisers, attorneys and a variety of design professionals.
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum of a BBA/BS (MBA preferred)
Minimum of 3 years commercial Real Estate experience
Experienced in commercial Real Estate contracts and strong understanding of legal language
Experienced in negotiations (written & oral)
Proven skills in developing and presenting project recommendations (written and oral)
Strong skills required in Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point
Must possess strong organizational skills and be able to demonstrate during interview
Able to work without direct supervision
Desired Skills & Experience:
Real Estate License is preferred
Prior supervisory skills preferred (managing employees or contractors)
Understanding of commercial building maintenance and associated equipment a plus
