The Real Estate Group (REG) holds overall responsibility for over $8B of Starwood’s real estate portfolio on a global basis. It is primarily responsible for driving the growth of the business through acquisition, development and effective portfolio management of all real estate assets.
As such, the North America Division Development Sales teams are charged with growing our portfolio as aligned against three key segments: Luxury (St. Regis, Luxury Collection, W), Full-Service (Sheraton, Westin, Le Meridien) and Select-Service (Four Points by Sheraton, aloft, element). The Real Estate Marketing team – also aligned against the three segments - supports these efforts to help drive awareness of the power of Starwood and our brands and generate leads among the owner/developer community.
The primary responsibility of the REG marketing function is to maximize the impact of the REG’s marketing budget by 1) developing world class marketing plans and materials, 2) creating alignment within the organization, especially between brands, Operations and REG Deal Executives and 3) Segmenting and identifying both current and future key developers in order to create long-term partnerships for hotel development.
The Manager, REG marketing – Full Service will work closely with the Full Service deal associates, internal Starwood functions and Sheraton, Westin and Le Meridien brand teams to help support portfolio growth. More specifically, the Manager would be responsible for working with the Director, Full Service Marketing to:
Implement Full-Service brand specific marketing plans targeted towards owners/developers. This will include managing to budget and identifying the highest impact media, communications and events strategy.
Creating brand specific marketing materials (including but not limited to pitch materials used by deal executives and the rest of the organization when communicating with owner/developers).
Managing all Full-Service pitch requests from initial request through presentation. This can take the form of RFQs, RFPs and presentations. Candidate must be comfortable accessing, analyzing and utilizing key data – internal and external – to tell story.
Capturing Owner/Developer intelligence from both internal and external sources. Segment the owner/developer world to identify both current and future key developers and devise owner recognition/marketing programs.
Managing industry events for REG which would require coordinating with the brands to decide which events to participate in, and effectively execute on those events.
Support the deal flow process – ensuring alignment between REG, Brands and Operations.
Working with both CSG and external vendors to develop materials that support our lifestyle positioning while make an impact among developers in a cost effective manner.

Qualifications
