A Project Quantity Surveyor or Quantity Surveyor is required by my client to join an existing construction team with an ambitious consultancy in the Peterborough area
The position
The role involves joining an engineering consultancy based in the Peterborough area. They have a construction and infrastructure division and this position is to work alongside the construction division working primarily on port and harbour developments
Duties will include
You will assist in providing the full range of professional quantity surveyors skills at all stages in the life of a project, including, but not limited to
• Project estimates
• Preparation of bills of quantities
• Preparation of tender documents
• Tender appraisal
• Post-contract administration
• Finalisation of projects
• Contribute to project reviews
You will also contribute to improving the service provided by the Project Services team and liaise with other members of the team and with members of other divisions throughout the firm in a proactive manner

Requirements:
The successful candidate will
• Possess a relevant degree
• Ideally have experience of working in a QS practice, but this is not essential
• Minimum 2 years experience.

Remuneration:
Up to £35,000 per Annum
