Required Skills:-
Degree / College Major: B.S. Nursing or Health Science
Number of Years Work Experience Required: 3 yrs
Must be comfortable with different data collection environments such as Wbdc.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently.
Job Responsibilities:-
Responsible for Coding Adverse Events, Medical History, Surgical Procedures and Medications to Medical Terminology dictionaries such as MedDRA and Drug dictionaries.
Manage the delivery of accurate, consistent and timely coding of clinical study data using agreed versions of clinical coding dictionaries and appropriate coding and data validation guidelines, including raising queries, according to global processes.
Provide clinical dictionary, dictionary versioning, and coding process expertise to study delivery teams.
Must be knowledgeable of MedDRA Dictionary and Drug Dictionary coding.
Must be knowledgeable on researching information on the internet regarding drug and medical terminology.
Identify terms that need to be added to externally-provided dictionaries based on research of scientific literature and references
