The company is a not-for-profit health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem. We are also dedicated to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
We have an exciting opportunity available for a motivated Transportation Solutions Manager in our Columbia, SC office.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Establishes Road to Recovery program in assigned area.
Responsible for promoting program, recruiting, training, and retaining volunteers and coordinators in order to build program.
Completes and updates community assessment of existing transportation resources.
Works closely with CRN and data entry staff to ensure that resources and volunteers are in the system and accessed seamlessly.
Identifies and establishes collaborative relationships with potential transportation partners and advocates.
Promotes The company transportation solutions to patient and medical groups.
Develops novel community-based transportation solutions through cooperative agreements, collaboration, and negotiation with typical and atypical partners.
Responsible for motivating constituents towards volunteerism and solutions for program.
Work directly with the field staff, Patient Navigators, CRN staff to analyze and work towards strategic solutions.
Work with our external constituents to facilitate a consortium charged with seeking solutions for the transportation program.
Constituents involved with other non profits as well as business owners and Health Care Providers.
Seek new and innovative ideas towards solving the transportation problem.
Track success rate of their program.
Heavily immerse themselves into the community to move the community towards action.
Develop and implement plans to approach the specific concerns within the community assigned.
Analyze the data provided as well as gather new data to determine appropriate next steps to move towards.
Organize a team of people to build a working group/consortium to help motivate the community toward action.
Manage the project toward outcomes to discover if the project is viable.
Pro-actively and assertively addresses issues as they arise.
Makes business based decisions; maintains accurate files, submits timely and accurate reports; meets time lines, follows through; apprises supervisor of status; provides viable & innovative solutions to problems; attends meetings/trainings, adheres to approved policy/procedure, represents the organization in a professional manner; makes effective presentations.
Will fully develop a transportation strategy and plan.
Will seek out grant opportunities for transportation services.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and 2 year related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Reliable transportation required.
Other Desirable Qualifications: Successful people management and relationship building experience. Previous experience with strategic analysis and planning processes.
