| |
Responsible for reviewing draft publications for doctrinal consistency and, ICW CADD, staffing the FMs with other CAC organizations. Included will be tracking all Army field manuals by status, reviewing draft manuals, reporting to CADD on the integration and compatibility of these doctrinal publications, conducting background research, and writing reports on the result of reviews. Review draft Army manuals provided by the COTR, for consistency, integration, and compatibility of doctrine with FM 1 and FM 3-0. Become familiar with referenced and related materials within the doctrine to be reviewed and Joint and Army Keystone and Capstone Manuals in order to ensure reviewed doctrine adheres to doctrinally accepted terms, graphics, and concepts and conduct necessary research to ensure each manual reviewed meets this objective.
Mental/Physical Requirements:
Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Travel may be required.
Education/Experience Requirements:
Required: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Minimum ten years prior military experience, or equivalent civilian service. Familiarity with US Army, joint, and multinational doctrine and graphics. Knowledge of current Army capstone and keystone doctrine. Ability to access draft Army, joint, and multinational doctrine. Strong communication skill, especially writing skills. Capable of working independently and efficiently. Preferred: Master's degree from an accredited college is preferred.
