GENERAL SUMMARY: Develops, organizes, and conducts training and educational programs for customer personnel; works under general supervision; performs additional duties as assigned.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develops, tests, maintains, and delivers training programs and related materials in support of customer training objectives;
Establishes course content and objectives;
Conducts training sessions and develops criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of training activities;
Maintains records of training activities, participant progress, and program effectiveness;
Updates course documentation on a regular basis to ensure timeliness and relevance;
Maintains current knowledge of relevant hardware and software applications as assigned;
Participates in special projects as required.
Required Education:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Typically requires 2-5 years of directly related training experience;
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.
Required Work Experience:
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in the development and delivery of training programs;
Knowledge of relevant software and computer equipment as required;
Demonstrated effective presentation and communication skills.
WORKING CONDITIONS: The work is typically performed in an office environment and at client site locations, which requires proper safety precautions; work may require some physical effort in the handling of light materials, boxes or equipment.

Other Desirable Requirements:
Responsible for the maintenance and training of the ABCS at JRTC. Trains JRTC Staff and contractors in the use of the ABCS, focusing on the MCS-L and the CPOF which provides the 21st ID commander and his staffs the ability to collect, coordinate, and act on near real time battlefield information and to graphically visualize the battlefield during JRTC Rotactins. Also works as the Team leader's assistant.
