The Analysis, Simulation, Systems Engineering and Training (ASSET) Business Unit currently has an opening for an Army Battle Command System (ABCS) Training Chief to work in Honolulu, HI.
Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for the effective delivery of operator and staff level training for Maneuver Control System (MCS) and Force XXI Battle Command Brigade and Below (FBCB2)/ Blue Force Tracker (BFT) systems. Responsible to provide oversight over trainers for other Army Battle Command Systems (ABCS): Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data System (AFATDS), All Source Analysis System (ASAS), Maneuver Control System (MCS), Army Missile Defense Warning System (AMDWS), Force XXI Battle Command Brigade and Below (FBCB2), FBCB2- Blue Force Tracker (FBCB2-BFT), and the Combat Service Support Computer System (CSSCS)/Battle Command Sustainment Support System (BCS3). Responsible for the developing, reviewing, and updating computer based training products, Programs of Instruction (POI), and Training Support Packages (TSP) for operator and staff level instruction of the Army Battle Command Systems. Lead oversees team participation in providing ABCS system subject matter expertise to units during ramp up training and execution.
Education -- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or completion of senior military school.
Experience -- 10 -15 years military experience at company and higher level commands and staff positions. Three years instructional experience or instructional certification in a military environment. Instruction Certification on one or more of the currently fielded ABCS systems.
Experience -- 10-15 years military experience with completion of senior level military schooling (MEL-4 or MEL-1 or equivalent) and command and/or higher level staff experience at battalion and above, to include service in joint, unified and combined commands.
