A Senior Manager at Deloitte Consulting LLP will manage and deliver large, complex client engagements that identify, design, and implement creative business solutions and technology solutions for large clients across several key industries. Senior Managers are expected to contribute to the firm's growth and development in a variety of ways, including:
Engagement Management:
Manage engagement risk, manage project economics including planning and budgeting, manage accounts receivable, define deliverable content, ensure buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client.
Client Management:
Manage the day to day interactions with client management and sponsorship
Business Development:
Develop and maintain contact with top decision makers at key clients, organize and lead pursuit teams, participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process, contribute to proposal pricing strategy.
Practice Development & Eminence:
Development of solutions and methodologies, development of "thoughtware" and "point-of-view" documents, public speaking and publication in industry periodicals.
People Development:
Perform role of counselor and coach, provide input and guidance into the staffing process, and actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities. Provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices.
Ability to accommodate client travel up to 100%.
Bachelor's degree, MBA strongly preferred.
10+ years in consulting services, including at least 3 years of project management experience.
Majority of engagement experience focused on the Media market segment.
Experience in one or more of the following: Digital Asset Management, Content Management Systems, production, post-production, mobile applications, Digital and Interactive Television, Video On-Demand, CRM, Digital Media Security and Enterprise eCommerce solutions.
A broad understanding of competitive landscape in Media entertainment delivery options as well as key contacts at both industry companies and solutions providers
Revenue generation responsibility. Minimally of $1.5mm/yr.
Significant experience managing / leading complex programs, operations and product launches.
Responsibility for multiple projects with at least $1mm in revenue for an aggregate of $5+mm/yr.
Experience managing mixed teams, including clients and contractors with both business and technical backgrounds (include offshore teams).
Experience managing the career development and performance issues of direct reports.
Experience analyzing, designing and implementing large scale business/technology solutions.
Strong communication experience should include presentation / proposal generation, as well as an ability to interact effectively with people at all levels within a team or client organization.
Very high attention to detail; stellar work ethic.
