Subcontract administrator
Located in Manhattan, we are looking for a top notch Subcontract Administrator to work with our government and commercial contracts group.
If you are a top notch Subcontract Administrator with experience as a project manager .... and, you are looking for a challenging position in a growing organization, read on!
What you will do:
- Manage the subcontract provisions including monitoring negotiations, establish reporting requirements, and working with the operations units throughout the contract.
- Continuously manage customer requirements and oversee contract modifications
- Coordinate compliance and completion within standard concepts and procedures such as Federal Acquisition Regulations and Universal Commercial Codes.
- Generate written responses, presentations and participate in management reviews
What you need to have:
- 5 + years experience managing the subcontract process for a manufacturing or defense company
- Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARS); Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR) and Universal Commercial Codes (UCC).
- Expertise in Microsoft Office especially Excel, Visio a plus
- Excellent communication, presentation and problem solving skills
- Bachelors Degree (minimum) required
