Do you want to grow the sales of industry-leading security event management technology? Do you want to be the technical liaison in all pre-sales activities between customers? Have you provided support for product demonstrations, technical discussions, RFI, RFP, and general information security best practices? If so, read on...
Responsibilities:
- Drive the technical pre-sales process and act as a technical resource for the Sales team
- Demonstrate Company technologies effectively to customers
- Deliver technical presentations to audiences up to 50
- Deliver technical training
- Ensure the technical win at all accounts
- Perform installations, troubleshooting, setups, and configurations at customer sites
What you need for this position:
- 3+ years as a Network Security Sales Engineer
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related
- 1+ year Internet Security experience.
- CISSP or other security technical certification a plus
- Excellent oral & written communication skills
- Able and willing to speak to live audiences of up to 50 people
- This position requires working knowledge of multiple network and security devices
- Strong working knowledge in the following areas: NOS Administration UNIX (any flavor, RedHat & Solaris a plus), Microsoft 2000, 2003 and XP server
- Network Infrastructure Architecture - Cisco (routers, switches, VPN or Storage a plus)
- TCP/IP
- Security Products Working understanding of Firewalls, IDS, IPS, as well as encryption techniques and methods.
