This is my direct client opening Business Analyst – Chicago, IL – This is a Permanent Position.- Client will offer a competitive compensation and benefits package. This is for an Insurance Company!!
Responsibilities
My client is looking for a Business Analyst who will participate in the development and implementation of various software development projects.
The Business Analyst will meet with customers across the organization, develop user requirements into software specifications, and develop/conduct design walk-throughs.
The Business Analyst will be responsible for developing test plans and coordinating the testing process.
IT requirements and information gathering
Software specification design
Test planning and implementation
Production report design/implementation
First level end-user application support
Requirements
3-5 years experience with Software Specification Design
Bachelors degree required.
Use Case Design, Data Modeling and familiarity with MSF is a plus
Experience with reporting tools such as Crystal Reports, WebFOCUS & Cognos a plus.
Must demonstrate a desire for continued professional development through continuing education and self-development opportunities.
Excellent analytical, presentation, oral, written and interpersonal communication skills to effectively interact and negotiate with internal/external customers and all levels of management; ability to maintain professionalism
Knowledge and experience in property and casualty insurance
Must have good business acumen (understands how an insurance company works and makes money).
Familiarity with Microsoft Project is a plus
