AIG has an immediate opening for an AVP of Operations and Systems. This position will be working in Domestic Brokerage Group in Jersey City.
This position will be responsible for driving operational and systems strategies in P&C Severity Claims divisions based in Jersey City. The position will also manage an operations staff dedicated to the logistics, compliance and file maintenance needs of the claims groups.
Specifically, the Assistant Vice President of Operations & Systems will:
Manage the operations staff and develop business and staffing plans to improve the operational infrastructure, enhance service to claims groups and to comply with internal/external auditing requirements
Drive any strategic project initiatives. This would include, documenting and evaluating workflows and procedures for each group and devising recommendations to initiate any process improvements
Oversee space utilization and logistics for all P&C Severity groups
Create and provide reports to senior management that identify trends in areas such as expense, claim payments, vendor services etc. Work with senior management to develop strategies to address each
Work with senior management in the development of revised staffing models for each group
Closely coordinate with P&C Severity systems groups to initiate any enhancements to the claims system and processing environments.

Other:
MBA or Advanced Degree preferred
Consulting experience with a focus on operations preferred
