Are you fluent in Korean and English? Do you have 10+ years experience in Human Resources with at least 5 years in a managerial role? Are you local to the New Jersey area? Then keep reading....
We are a leading manufacturing firm based in New Jersey with global manufacturing operations in Korea. We are seeking a bilingual Korean and English Human Resources Manager to lead the HR team as our company experiences tremendous growth.
Key responsibilities include:
- Oversee the day to day functions of the HR Team, including but not limited to, employee relations, benefits, payroll, recruiting, performance evaluations and compensation
- Provide direction to the team and act as a liaison between upper management and the team
- Communicate effectively in English and Korean, both orally and in writing; establish and maintain relationship with staff, management and employees
- Manage and develop HR team
The qualified candidate will have:
- Minimum of 10 years experience in Human Resources with at least years managerial experience
- Well-rounded and up-to-date knowledge of employment laws and practices, including FLSA, Wage and Salary Administration, COBRA, Benefits Administration
- Excellent oral and written communications skills, including the ability to clearly and concisely answer questions and convey information to staff, management, and the Board of Directors.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills; flexible, patient, and good sense of humor
- Fluent in Korean (speak, read, and write) and English
- Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or related field
