The River Inn Of Harbor Town

The Front Office/Reservation Manager reports to the General Manager of this full service boutique hotel located on Harbor Town Square, Memphis area. The position responsibilities include managing the front office operations to ensure profitability, cost controls and quality standards for this 5 diamond luxury hotel. The position's essential functions include managing front office personnel to include staffing, training, disciplining, scheduling and monitoring performance in order to provide optimal guest satisfaction; managing systems to include reservations, front office systems, supplies, inventories, forecasting, and budgeting; compilation and preparation of financial reports including rate and availability data; regular communication with staff and guests; implement and monitor marketing programs; and perform room inspections. Job Requirements: The ideal candidate will possess considerable knowledge of computerized property management systems for registration, reservations and back-up; at least three years of previous hospitality experience including supervisory experience; familiarity with front office operations; excellent interpersonal skills; effective communication skills, both orally and in writing; above average mathematical comprehension skills to understand and interpret numbers as they apply to hotel operations; good organizational skills; and ability to develop staff. Some experience with 4-5 diamond hotel is preferable.
