Lajitas, The Ultimate Hideout is a 25,000-acre private estate nestled between Big Bend National Park and Big Bend State Park. Must be willing to relocate to Lajitas Texas. Must have accounting experience with an American Company
Individual must be well-versed in accounting procedures. Will oversee payroll and general cashier position and assist the Director of Accounting and CFO with daily tasks and month end activity. Must be detail oriented and extremely organized. Experience in payroll and cash handling a must. Completion of taxes (payroll, sales, etc) a plus.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Controls, Processes and reconciles all member related a/r billing
Produces all monthly member statements
Handles all member/owner account inquiries
Submits all credit card batches.
Controls, processes and reconciles all group related a/r billing
Produces group billing to group designee and process payments
Related to billing
Handles all group related account inquiries
Handles all guest related credit card inquires
Process all daily promo charges for internal accounts
Controls all fixed asset purchases for all resort related
Entities.
Prepares monthly departmental A/R billing.
Processes monthly automatic postings for all resort related a/r
Customers.
Monthly reconciliation of a/r ledger vs. Sub-ledger and review of
Aging.
Prepares/Assists with monthly, quarterly, and annual tax reporting
For payroll and other resort requirements.
Processes bi-weekly payroll tax payments.
Controls all resort related inventories-distributes.
Job Requirements: Must have 3 to 5 years experience or education that is comparable. Hospitality experience is a plus. Must be computer literate with heavy experience in EXCEL, WORD, OUTLOOK and computer accounting software. Willing to work with little or no supervision. Self starter, team player and highly motivated. Must possess a strong work ethic. Must enjoy living in a remote area.
