The National
Telecommunications Information Administration (NTIA),
is a principal voice on domestic & international telecommunications
& information technology issues. NTIA works to spur innovation,
encourage competition, & provide consumers with better quality
telecommunications products & services. NTIA is also responsible
for managing the federal government's use of the radio frequency
spectrum.
The National Telecommunications and Information Administration
(NTIA)
an agency of the U.S. Department of Commerce, is the Executive
Branch's principal adviser on telecommunications and information
policy issues. NTIA represents the Executive Brach in domestic and
international policy activities, manages the Federal use of the
radio
spectrum, performs cutting-edge telecommunications research and
engineering and administers infrastructure and public
telecommunications facilities grants.
This position is located in the NTIA, Office of Telecommunications
and Information Applications (OTIA). If selected for this position,
you will serve as a Digital-to-Analog Converter Box Coupon Program
business and industry specialist, providing advice and assistance to
the Program Director and the Associate Administrator, OTIA, in
administering the Digital-to-Analog Converter Box Coupon Program
("Coupon Program").
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
Applications will only be accepted from United States citizens
One year of specialized experience at the next lower grade.
Payment of relocation expenses is authorized.
