Job Description: Leads and organizes the definition of the most complex proposal projects, technical concepts and cost calculation work relative to the oil and gas industry. Designs and manages proposal standards and is involved as a key contributor for the definition of new products and solutions for the oil and gas industries. Specifically focuses on understanding the operational competencies and limitations within the Electrical and Automation Line of Service and proposes the focused technical concepts to the customer.
Key Responsibilities:
Provides efficient customer proposal specifications based upon sales / marketing requirements and customer RFQ?s, using existing project solutions and confirmed designs successfully utilized in previous projects. Specific attention will be paid to definition and specification of all interfaces to existing or other third party provided systems. Also provides technical concept / feasibility, preliminary project schedules, technical scope, manhour estimates and cost calculations, vendor bid evaluations, technical clarifications and risk assessment input for bid / no-bid and LoA review. Assist Business Developers in client meetings by understanding feasibility of client?s requested scope by mapping it with our existing capabilities. Responsible for overall success of proposal projects within Oil and Gas projects for the Electrical and Automation (E&A) Line of Service.
