Position Description:

Connecticut Valley Hospital (CVH), Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services has a career opportunity as a Water Treatment Plant Supervisor.
As a plant supervisor you will have a staff of two and oversee the multi-treatment water operations at CVH which has a class 3 designation and design flow of at least .70 million gallons per day. You will work in a modern, automated water treatment facility and be responsible for the chemical and filtering processes of converting over 300,000 gallons of raw water per day and processing it into potable water for three major State facilities including Connecticut Valley Hospital, Riverview Hospital for Children and Connecticut Juvenile Training school.
To be considered for this career opportunity, you must have a Class 3 water treatment plant operator's license and a Class 1 water distribution system operator's license. Five years experience in the operations of a chemical physical water treatment plant (class three or above) with two of those years in a lead capacity is required.
The total compensation plan includes a generous benefit package worth over 37 percent of the employee's annual salary.
