| |
Plans, designs, develops and maintains all aspects of Zippy Cash web properties. Responsible for providing technical guidance and direction for web related activities including but not limited to web host selection, site design, site development and search engine optimization. Assists other staff on an as needed basis to insure a reliable and stable computing environment.
ACTIVITIES:
Create and maintain internal web development environment
Design / develop / maintain Zippy Cash web properties
Research and implement SEO initiatives
Assist with design / development of 100% self serve web initiative
Document functional/technical requirements for new/existing website features
Participate in conception and analysis of new website features
Provide information and guidance to the IT team in developing specifications and requirements for new web site features and/or web site tools
Provide technical support and expertise to business owners and other IT staff regarding front-end website issues
Prioritize daily workflow and demands on quality, time and resources.
REQUIRED MINIMUM SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
5+ years professional experience developing in HTML
3+ years professional experience developing in PHP
3+ years professional experience developing in server-side scripting/programming such as ASP/VBScript, ASP.Net/C#, PHP or Perl
3+ years in developing front-end code for database driven commercial Web sites
Experience working with standards-based design and mark-up
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Sound problem solving, technical troubleshooting, negotiating, and decision-making skills are crucial
Ability to multitask, works well under pressure, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Ability to work efficiently in a multi-user development environment
REQUIRED MINIMUM PRIOR WORK EXPERIENCE:
Five years of job-related experience with demonstrated competence
