produce online marketing including websites, rich media banner ads, email campaigns, contest pages, etc
design and development of HTML/CSS website templates and design
front end functionality and Flash based programming and design
develop and maintain integrated plans for the company’s internet presence based on management goals and priorities
keep brand consistency while translating offline creative into online creative
participate in the overall design and structuring of websites
create enhancements and modifications of websites
develop and implement plans to obtain and maintain a high level of functionality and usability of websites
assess new standards, technologies and trends and implement plans for future enhancement of websites
ensure that websites are accessible from a variety of different environments
may lead and/or guide the work of other staff engaged in similar functions
To qualify as a successful candidate you will have:
post secondary education in a related field
2 years directly related working experience in the following:
-Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, etc.)
-Macromedia Suite (Flash, Dreamweaver)
-Flash Scripting, Design and Development
-Video editing and streaming for the web
-In-depth experience with HTML, DHTML, CSS, PHP
-Web planning and organizing skills
-JavaScript, ASP, Dot Net, DHTML, PHP
Ability to apply web design principles and techniques to the creation and enhancement of integrated, complex websites
Ability to not only evaluate, but recommend and implement new and evolving website technologies
A successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual who can work both independently with minimal supervision or as part of a team and has effective communication and organizational skills. You will have a degree or diploma in a related field and have a minimum of 2 years related working experience. Experience/knowledge of the fitness industry is an asset.
