WHO WE ARE:
We are a seasoned Government contracting company seeking a very talented Enterprise Systems Architect(s) to join our team.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
In this role you will support enterprise Identity Management, Single Sign On (SSO) and service oriented architecture solutions by: analyzing client requirements and designing solutions; defining associated IT requirements for security, standardization and architecture; programming the solutions; and/or implementing and administering acquired solutions. He/she must successfully work together with other engineers, administrators, and client(s) as needed while assessing these requirements and implementing the solution(s). This will include, but not be limited to, creating the necessary engineering diagrams taking into consideration HW, SW, data and systems security requirements; researching and recommending state-of-the-art solutions; and programming and implementing the solution at required sites. This selected candidate will provide leadership to a team of employees and subcontractors, and will assist in management of strategic projects and contracts.
Other projects related to assistance in the development of an enterprise solutions practice that will foster the acquisition of additional projects. Work is based in Northern Virginia, but candidate(s) must be able to travel as needed.
WHAT YOU MUST HAVE TO QUALIFY:
* 10+ years Must have advanced knowledge and experience in programming; strong understanding of enterprise architectures and frameworks
* A good understanding of service oriented architectures; and experience in several (but not all) of the following: J2EE development and understanding of JAVA programming; strong SUN Java Enterprise System (JES) experience (JES access manager, directory server, portal server and/or identity manager); JES administration; other vendor identity management solutions (e.g., Netegrity, Oracle), of related technical experience
* Further experience in SSO implementation; Common Access Card (CAC) and Public Key Infrastructure; knowledge of/experience with the Defense Enrollment and Eligibility Reporting System (DEERS); experience with Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP)/X500 user repositories
* BS Degree in Computer Science or a related field
* Great development/programming skills including significant analytical skills.
* Demonstrated ability to contribute in the areas of design and documentation; and to assist with planning and customer meetings.
* Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be flexible to work in a fast moving environment and growing environment.
* In addition, U.S Citizenship is required because applicants are subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information and be able to obtain a Government-granted security clearance.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
1) Experience with developing and implementing a variety of single sign-on, enterprise directory and identity management technologies/solutions.
2) Experience in a leadership role a plus, as it may be needed.
3) Knowledge of government and military requirements for standardization and cost-effective enterprise solutions.
