Required:
Electrical, Mechanical, Troubleshooting experience with voltages between 110 VAC - 480 VAC , Welding experience, Plumbing/Piping experience
Accountabilities: Maintain equipment reliability, Conduct PM and repairs on packaging and processing equipment, Maintain accurate documentation of equipment checks and repairs
Leadership Skills: Self Starter (doesn't wait for work to be scheduled), Demonstrates ownership without being directed (addresses issues and follows up for closure), Effective Communicator, Team Player, Flexible to rotate shifts, work on weekends, and adjust hours as required
Strong Work Ethics Key Performance Measures:
Production and Packaging Downtime, Compliance with equipment PM's, work order completion, Production and Packaging Downtime, Compliance with equipment PM's and work order completion
Requirements
Physical Requirements:
Frequent standing and walking
Sitting occasionally to frequent
Lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally
Must be able to see (depth perception, near acuity and far acuity) and hear
Must be able to maneuver safely around moving equipment and/or in congested manufacturing areas
Must be able to tolerate extreme temperatures (hot and/or cold depending upon season and plant location)
Must pass a drug screen and background investigation
Must be able to wear personal protective equipment including safety glasses, ear plugs/muffs, steel toed shoes, rubber gloves/boots, etc.
Exposed to various packaging materials, raw ingredients, seasonings, cleaning chemicals, lubricants, etc.
