For over a decade, University of Manitoba students have been connecting with the world of work through the Career Mentor Program. The process is simple. Students fill out an application form, indicating the name of the occupation they want to explore. After a brief but informative orientation session, students are matched with a Career Mentor. An information interview, typically a one- hour session, ensues at a mutually agreed upon time. Many of our Career Mentors are alumni of the University of Manitoba and are committed to helping current students. It helps you to develop a professional network outside of the University It can boost your confidence--job interviews might seem less intimidating 4. It only costs $10. Students pay only once!
