The Risk Manager will be responsible for measuring and tracking market risk within the US prime brokerage business unit. He/she will monitor risk policies and work closely with clients, client service and management on critical issues impacting the businesss bottom line, as well as assist in the development of policies, with special emphasis on the risks. Our Global Markets & Financing Services (GMF&S) group is seeking to hire an individual for its prime brokerage Risk Management group to monitor the key market risks of its market maker and hedge fund clients. Produce Risk Reports highlighting main client exposures and the violation of specific risk parameters. Monitor and manage key market risks in client portfolios (individually and in aggregation) and ensure key issues are elevated and resolved expeditiously. Help address risk management issues, developing practical solutions by working with key stakeholders (Sales, Management, Clients, support areas, etc.) Assist in the development and implementation of a new risk infrastructure and control framework for the business. He/she will ideally have a technical/quantitative undergraduate degree 2 years experience in finance Strong analytical and problem solving skills Strong communication skills, a strong presence and client skills
