Today, we are looking for our next Associate Sales Broker!
Position Objective:
In partnership with the Broker Development Manager, the objective of this position is to develop the Associate Sales Broker into a Sales Broker or Asset Acquisition Specialist.
Position Summary:
The Associate Sales Broker is responsible for performing all duties involved in identifying new product sources among the following categories; brokers, VAR’s, system integrators, consulting companies, leasing companies, etc. Those responsibilities include accountability for achieving sales objectives, growth in accordance with company business’ goals, product knowledge, knowledge of system tools, documentation of customer data, fulfilling both internal and external customer’s expectations. The Associate Sales Broker partners with sales brokers to determine pricing and manage the inventory process.
This position requires a sales-oriented individual with a strong work ethic and self-management principles. The individual must have the ability to interact effectively with customers, brokers and management to successfully facilitate the purchasing and sales process.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
Develop, manage and build new customer relationships and partnerships to secure inventory.
Procurement of network, server, and storage hardware in partnership with the Broker Development Manager.
Manage relationship with brokers, VAR’s, system integrators, consulting companies, leasing companies, etc.
Work with suppliers to execute long term purchasing agreements.
Actively cold call to gain new accounts and maintain existing accounts.
Partner with sales brokers to determine pricing/quotes while managing the inventory process.
Negotiate purchasing of high volume and high quality product in partnership with the Broker Development Manager.
Drive company-wide programs that improve supply chain performance and/or reduce supply chain costs.
Review, track and update your purchases weekly utilizing CRM tool.
Prospect into end user and lease companies to develop new sources for acquisition of product.
Track and respond to industry trends, business mergers and acquisitions, and data center consolidation announcements.
Track and report proposals to close ratio, wins to loses, quotes to sales, etc.
Respond to email and web leads.
Play a key role in the organization ensuring quality in all customer relationships, and high customer satisfaction.
Attend management meetings as requested and provide detailed feedback.
