This position is located in New York, New York. If you are a gaming addict and a technically savvy Art Director looking for a full-time position, our client's company may be the place for you. They are about to launch an amazing Flash application and need a creative leader passionate about gaming who can manage the new experience in conjunction with the overall look & feel of the site. Your portfolio should exhibit award-winning design work for the entertainment or media industry, with emphasis on video and/or online game sites. A degree in visual design, new media or related and 6-8 years designing for the web are required. Job Requirements: Required Skills/Experience -Exhibit a mastery of interaction design, including proven experience designing Flash-, HTML-, and CSS-based websites and interfaces within the gaming and entertainment industry categories. - Demonstrate expert knowledge of web standards, trends, a passion for design and the ability to inspire others -Exhibit success at guiding a team in the translation of gaming, media and entertainment brands to the online environment, -Exhibit experience with Content Management Systems and large-scale, templated websites. -Show an in-depth knowledge of information architecture and user interface design. -Demonstrate outstanding communication, organizational skills and the ability to manage inter-disciplinary teams Equal Opportunity Employer, M/F/V/D.
