The Senior Designer is a design leader for architectural projects and at times the Project Manager that coordinates a multi-disciplinary design team. When involved directly as the Project Manager, the Senior Designer will be the liaison between the client and the team of engineers and other consultants. Duties focus primarily on programming, design, design-development, CD’s, and presentations during all phases. The Senior Designer is responsible for establishing and maintaining the aesthetic directions of the project, with the ultimate goal of meeting all programmatic requirements while incorporating a strong architectural image. Job Requirements: -Bachelor's or Master's Degree from an accredited architectural program -An intuitive problem-identifying and option development approach, in addition to a strong design sense -Superior communication skills: Speaking, writing, listening, cooperative problem-solving -Preparation of both presentation and working drawings with experience in detailing and material/finish specification -AutoCAD proficiency and 3D modeling (Revit) experience strongly encouraged -Experience in laboratory, Bio-Pharma, R&D and corporate office design is desirable -Intermediate: 4-7 years of post-degree experience working within an architectural environment -Senior: 7± years of post-degree experience working within an architectural environment; Registered Architect (preferred states: Pennsylvania, New Jersey)
