Architectural Job Captain / Mid Level Architectural Designer LOCATION: Sacramento, California SALARY: $53,000- $67,000 per year DOE BENEFITS: Excellent Medical; Dental; Vision; Life; 401(k); Profit Sharing; Vacation; Holiday; Cafeteria Plan; and Performance Bonus program, and much, much, more Ideal architectural candidates will have the following qualifications: - 2-5+ years of professional architectural industry related work experience as a Senior Architectural Drafter, Designer, or Architectural Job Captain preferable working within a team oriented architectural office environment. - BachelorÂs degree in Architecture or closely related field is preferred. (Not required, can be substituted with equivalent professional architectural industry experience). - Must have strong working knowledge of recent versions of AutoCAD and/or Architectural Desktop. - Hand Drafting, sketching, and physical 3D Model building skills are a plus. (Not required). - Significant knowledge of architectural practices and procedures pertaining to design development, construction document production, consultant coordination, and client interaction is required. - Current California Architectural License or currently working through the IDP process towards the attainment of your CA license is preferred. - Architectural project experience pertaining to public sector projects such as K-12 Education, Higher Education, Healthcare, and/or Civic building facilities is a huge plus. (But candidates with any and all types of architectural projects experience will receive equal consideration). - Must have strong verbal and written communication skills and a personable, team oriented attitude. In the role of Architectural Project Coordinator or Architectural Job Captain with our firm job responsibilities will include but are not limited to working closely alongside assigned Project Architect or Architectural Project Manager aid in the successful design and execution of public use building projects from overall project conception through design development, construction document production, submittal, and construction administration. Will taking part in everything from code research, drafting, site visits, coordination of consultants, and client interaction, to light construction administration duties.
