Senior Architectural Drafter / Architectural Construction Document Coordinator LOCATION: Sacramento, California SALARY: $45,000- $57,000 per year DOE BENEFITS: Excellent Medical; Dental; Vision; Life; 401(k); Profit Sharing; Vacation; Holiday; Cafeteria Plan; and Performance Bonus program, and much, much, more Ideal architectural candidates will have the following qualifications: - 3+ years of architectural cad drafting construction document production industry related work experience as an Architectural Drafter, Architectural Intern, or Architectural Designer, or Architectural CAD Manager preferable working within a team oriented architectural office environment. - BachelorÂs degree in Architecture or closely related field is preferred. (Not required, can be substituted with equivalent professional architectural industry experience). - Must have strong working knowledge of recent versions of AutoCAD and/or Architectural Desktop. - Significant knowledge of architectural practices and procedures pertaining to design development, construction document production, consultant coordination, & quality assurance of architectural drawings & plans required. - Architectural drafting and/or production experience pertaining to public sector projects such as K-12 Education, Higher Education, Healthcare, and/or Civic building facilities is a huge plus. (But candidates with any and all types of architectural projects experience will receive equal consideration). In the role of Senior Architectural Drafter / Architectural Construction Document Coordinator with our firm job responsibilities will include but are not limited to providing architectural design and drafting support for projects throughout the schematic, design development, and CD production phase. Prepare rendering and graphic presentations of assigned projects. Assists in schematic code conformance, documentation, and implementation of design standards. Preparation of schematic design and design development drawings. Work closely with assigned project teams to perform production related tasks as required.
