| |
Responsible for monitoring the progress and quality of work of various design projects. Participates in the designing and preparation of parts and assemblies models.
1. Determine testing requirements to meet safety, customer and performance standards. (Cycle testing, ANSI testing, Stain gauge, Durability testing, performance testing)
2. Test products, write reports, supervise field test personnel.
3. Interact with project engineers and customers, as required, in determining testing schedules and test criteria.
4. Make recommendations for the purchase of test equipment as required to complete testing for new products to meet customer specifications.
5. Design test fixtures and assist shop personnel in building of these fixtures.
6. Communicate with OEM customers, throughout the testing and design of products.
7. Follow products into the market place, resolve customer complaints and warranty concerns as directed by the Manager of Design Engineering.
8. Create and maintain project test documentation throughout the design of the product.
