Accountant Job: Industrial Construction company has an IMMEDIATE NEED for a Project Accountant with experience in construction accounting. This is a direct hire position in Chicago, IL. You will need to have an Associates degree in accounting/finance, a BS in Accounting preferred. You should have 5 or more years of accounting experience with some exposure to the construction industry. Knowledge/experience with JD Edwards accounting software is a BIG plus. In this position you must perform with an extremely high degree of accuracy and high adherence to company policy and procedures. High interpersonal skill required, interfacing with internal customers (Project Managers, Superintendents) and external customers (clients and subcontractors). Some occasional travel is required. Pay will be competitive based on experience. Excellent benefits package including matching 401k, Profit Sharing Plan, Medical, etc... Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.
