Project ManagerDo you have 7+ years of IT Project Management experience in the Educational, K-12 / College schools arena?
If so, read below!We will relocate the right candidate to beautiful Sacramento, CA!What will you be doing?- Manage all aspects of projects at client sites from, managing contractors, architects, finances/budgeting, government, low voltage design, and infrastructure design
- Responsible for interfacing with clients during project to update on the overall scope of the project
- Responsible for budgeting the project, and negotiating contracts between us and 3rd party contractors
- Must be on top of the contractors all the time through out the entire project
- Responsible for traveling to client sites when needed. Extensive travel is NOT required!
- Offer input on new construction and modernization of new buildings depending on projectsWhat do you need?
- Bachelors Degree- RCDD and/or BICSI certified members preferred, but not required- Planning, architectural, engineering, or construction project management background is required- 7+ years of Project Management experience - 5+ years of new construction or building modernization experience in the K-12 / College school districts, hospital, and healthcare buildings- Technology background is required - Telecommunications, Data Systems, Infrastructure
- Experience with data lines, VoIP, intercom, multimedia / video, security, fire alarms, clock bells, cabling, infrastructure, technology project management and planning
